How to increase your health and success through the power of positive

Your thoughts may be more impactful to your health and overall success in life than you may realize. Psychoneuroimmunology or PNI, the study of how your thoughts impact your brain and immune system, has discovered that every thought you think alters your neurochemistry. What you hear, read, watch on television, talk about with others, and think about, impacts every cell in your brain and body. It can affect neurotransmitter ratios in your brain's chemical stew. No surprise, this can have a great deal to do with the quality of your health and success. The style you use when communicating with others can impact their brain and body, as well--positively or negatively.

This seminar is designed to increase your understanding of the “power of positive” on yourself as well as others. Developing and implementing a positive mindset, positive communication style, and positive internal mental pictures (on a consistent basis) may be the most effective way to: program your subconscious, enhance your communication, improve your health and wellbeing, increase your energy levels, and enhance your likelihood of success.

This seminar can be presented in 50 minutes.

People who want to practically apply strategies on how to think and communicate more effectively with themselves and with others, enhance their risk for success, and positively impact their health.

Upon completion of the seminar, participants should be able to:

  • State one research outcome from the field of PNI (Psychoneuroimmunology)
  • Describe two examples of helpful versus unhelpful self-talk styles
  • Provide two examples of effective communication styles with others
  • List two types of rehearsals
  • Explain two ways in which virtual rehearsal can be used effectively
