Event: Retreat for “Male Brains”
Location: 1931 Old San Jose Road, Soquel, CA 95073-9730
Taylor's topic: What Women Wish Men Knew about the Female Brain
As members of the same species, male and female brains are more alike than they are different. There are key differences, however, in structure, function, and wiring--the probable basis for which is being uncovered through the use of "connectome" research. And it's amazing! Learn how to better understand the female brains in your life, reducing stress, communicating more effectively, and having more fun in the process!
- Saturday 11:30 a.m.: The female brain perceives processes information in a very different style from the male brain; it also perceives stressors very differently, as well. "What's the big deal? It's not that bad. Just get over it!"
- Sunday 10:00 a.m.: The female brain is wired very differently from the male brain, based on Connectome Research. This likely forms the basis for differing behaviors, which can trigger discord or be understood and used as a basis for fun and laughter. "What do you mean you don't know which direction is South?"
